Intransitive Verbs


Intranstive verbs are verbs that do not have an object

Subject verb object.

Ben is snoring.

Rebekah can't sleep.

Some verbs are both Transitive and Intransitive.

Ben sings in the shower. (Intransitive)

Ben sings songs in the shower. (Transitive)

regular and irregular verbs

 

Regular verbs are verbs that change their form according to a regular (normal) pattern.

Irregular verbs are verbs that change their form in an irregular way. They do not follow the same pattern as regular verbs.
